CAROUSEL STABLES
Carousel Stables is a top international dressage training facility, the home of many past and current champions from training level through to Grand Prix. It is located 1 km west of the Calgary city limits in the NW quadrant. It is situated on 26 pristine acres with manicured lawns, rolling hills, trees and ponds. Carousel Stables is a mere 10 minute drive up the 1A hwy to the beautiful western town of Cochrane, 20 minutes to Airdrie and you can be across Calgary in 40 minutes and a mere 20 minutes to the Calgary International Airport.

Carousel is a newly renovated facility boasting an international outdoor and indoor arena. Both the indoor arena and barn of 17 stalls is fully heated. There are his and hers washrooms, coffee room, wash rack, tack lockers, and 3 matted infer red heated tack stalls for grooming, vet, or farrier. Carousel also offers 12 outdoor box stalls. There is a choice of individual turnout or group turnout. The property is fenced with horse friendly post and rail. There is an additional 4 stall barn for clinic attendees or clients coming in for lessons or training. The feeding program is customized to each individual horses needs, we only feed high quality feed, we offer a grass or alfalfa blend. Our staff is very knowledgeable, competent and of course very friendly!   We are proud to have 3 certified dressage coaches as well as one western trainer on site. We have head trainer/coach/owner Crystal Kroetch who is a certified level 3 dressage coach, Janet Hambly Adams a certified level 2 dressage coach, and Sandra Oxtoby a certified level 1 dressage coach. Our ground work /western trainer is Cory McAllister. Please see the protege page for further information on all trainers/coaches. Carousel looks forward to the future as we work to bring along our four legged and two legged clients and work as a team to reach their goals.
